HR Chocolates are handmade from the best available ingredients and contain no artificial additives. The tray offers six flavours, each produced with particular attention, using the finest classical flavourings in the tradition of the confectionery masters – the Chocolatiers.
HR Chocolates contain only pure chocolate, made from cocoa butter obtained from the fruit of the cocoa tree. If any other type of fat were added, the chocolate would no longer be pure. The Maya Indians of Central America discovered the sublime qualities of the cocoa fruit and brewed a drink from it that they offered to their gods. Thus, chocolate became known as the “Food of the Gods”. To this day, master chocolatiers consider the use of any other ingredient in chocolate to be blasphemy.
As a master chocolatier, it’s a challenge for me to combine the qualities of different types of chocolate with coffee, tea, spirits and fresh flavourings. I’ve amassed a great deal of knowledge in this field, having thrice won the title of Cake Decorating Champion of Iceland, and I am the Pastry Chef of the Icelandic National Culinary Team. In Belgium — the stronghold of chocolate making — I recently took part in one of the most prestigious global competitions for chocolatiers. It was a great honour to be accepted into the exclusive club of the 100 best chocolatiers in the world — and to be named “Ambassador of Belgian Chocolate”. As a result of these achievements I have seen my dreams come true and am proud to present to the world my own brand of chocolates. May they delight any connoisseur.
