Haflidi won the pree selection wich took place in Denmark and won the title “Ambassador of Belgian Chocolate” and also the right to conpeete in the europian competition Belgian Chocolate Award wich took place in 27th to 28th of april 2003.

Haflidi compeetit in the Culinary Olympics in Erfurt Germany17th-23th of october with the Icelandic Culinary team as their paistry chef, were the Icelandic team won 3 silver medals and by that taking the 9th place on the world list of Nationals teams.
